Wetherby Group has appointed Andrew Rawsthorne as Group Technical Manager to join forces with current Managing Director, Alex Chalmers, to take the UK based building products manufacturer into its next period of growth.
Recognised as one of the leading technical minds in the industry, Andrew brings vast experience to the business. From starting out as an apprentice plasterer in the family business through to large scale contract management and then on to a technical role for the EWI System Supplier, Wetherby Building Systems, he has joined the group from his most recent role as Sales and Marketing Director for Addagrip Terraco and Terraco Europe.
Andrew’s unique experience and commercial acumen will complement the entrepreneurial drive and ambition of Alex who has also come through the ranks of the family business and the pair are looking to take the Wetherby Group business into a new era of innovation and expansion. Andrew will focus on building a market leading technical service offer, seeking out new product and service opportunities and working with the overall team to develop and enhance the group’s current offering.
